NEXTSTONE

THE SHORT VERSION

Nextstone collects no data. It has no account system, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no server. It cannot send anything anywhere, because it has no network access.

WHAT IS COLLECTED

Nothing. No personal data, no usage data, no identifiers, no diagnostics, no contact information, no location. Nothing is transmitted off your device, and there is no backend to transmit it to.

WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The app saves a small amount of information locally, using the operating system's standard app-preferences storage:

your best score;
whether you have played the current day's board, and your best score on it;
your sound and haptics on/off settings.

This never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any service operated by the developer, it is not readable by the developer, and deleting the app deletes it.

NO THIRD PARTIES

Nextstone contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK and no social or attribution SDK. No third party receives information about you through this app.

NO TRACKING

The app does not track you, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not link any information to your identity across apps or websites.

PURCHASES

This release is free and contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. The developer receives no payment information of any kind.

CHILDREN

Nextstone is rated 4+. Because it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either.

HOW THIS IS VERIFIABLE

These are not just promises. The Android release build declares no INTERNET permission, which means the operating system will not permit it to make a network request at all. The iOS build ships a privacy manifest declaring no tracking, no tracking domains and no collected data types.

CHANGES

If a future version of the app ever changes what it does, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
